These are 15mL centrifuge tubes filled with low-nutrient agar with antibiotics and cooled on an angle, which gives them the dubbed name, “slant(s)”. The agar used makes these ideal for long-term storage.

All Long-term Storage Slants are 15mL centrifuges and use a low-nutrient/antibiotic recipe rigorously tested for optimal mycelium growth. All work is done in front of a 2’x4′ certified HEPA flowhood. Slants can take up to 5 days to ship. If there is any issue with the quality of the slant, you have 5 days from the time it arrives to your location, from the post office, to contact me, with photos, for a replacement. Replacement slants can take up to 5 days to ship.
