Gentamicin sulfate powder is an antibiotic used in agar to clean bacterial or contaminated plates. This is an aid and in no way a guarantee that it will clean every contaminant to contaminate your agar. But it does help. Each purchase comes with 1 gram of powder. All you need is 1/20 of a gram per 1000mL of agar. Add to your agar recipe and PC like normal.
