King Blue’s are not actually a Pleurotus eryngii, but a cross of Blue Oyster and Elm Oyster. This has quickly become a go-to culture for commercial growers, for its impressive yield and simplicity to grow. You can’t get much better than this for a high production variety. Extremely resistant to contamination and has a huge range of temperature tolerances. It’s hard not to grow huge flushes with this premium culture.
