The first written record of the Blue Oyster Mushroom was in 1775 by Dutch naturalist Nikolaus Josheph Freiherr Von Jacquin in Europe. The beautiful blue mushroom produce a flat convex cap with a short tapered stem or stems can be elongated with smaller caps.
