PT U Melmak Isolation
This is one of PT Us oldest cultures. Successfully preserved its volatility and health since 2019. It was actually one of the varieties we’ve sold the most back when we were on SS in 2021-2022.
This culture came to us by way of DC Mak back in 2019. PT U worked it all the way to F7 before putting it into cold storage for multiple years in 2022. In 2024 right before PT U’s hiatus started they pulled it out of storage and called it “Mak Revival Project” because the mycelium seemed dried up and dead. It took 12 days to come back to life after transferring it to a new agar plate. It definitely felt like divine intervention because we have never seen or experienced this before with mycelium that has dried out. It has since been worked another 3 generations putting it at F-10 just like Casper. Right behind Cambo Uncut and Sv-10.
This variety effortlessly packs tubs and yield very very high. Its speed of growth is moderate to slightly above average. The potency is comparable to that of Homestead PE.
