Maria Sabina Swab Set
$15.00
Maira Sabina is a slow growing, solid albino with fantastically ruffled gills. Coming from traditional Huautla variety, I stumbled upon a wildly variable genetic strain which I labeled HTF for “Huat the F*ck”, as it produced mixed tubs of white and gold fruits along with enigma type brain mutations. An early albino grow produced two distinct phenotypes, a faster growing straight gilled albino (Albino Huautla) and the slower, chaotic gilled isolation that would become Maria Sabina.
This one is named after the Mazatec curandera that first introduced the sacred mushroom ceremonies to western science, after their use had been kept secret since persecution by the Spanish conquerors. Maria lived in the village of Huaulta de Jimenez, the region from which the Huautla regional variety originates.
