AARP stands for “Albino APE Revert Project”. It began as classic APE, then reverted and spent a couple generations as traditional golden spore dropping fruits before eventually starting to produce new albino phenotypes again. The AARP isolation has a different look from its original APE ancestor, and is more cooperative, growing large heavy fruits with a significant boost in productivity.
