So you've wandered into the deepest depths of mycology and found yourself curious about the strange and mysterious exotic species? You're really up for some of the most challenging genetics? Well then, this is exactly where you want to be! I bring to you only the best of the best! I do everything I can to find the most elusive, newly and undescribed species to share right here in my little section of Spore Swaps! If you're ready to move on to the next level, then I want to stress that patience will become your best friend. Some of these species really move at a snails pace but the wait is so rewarding! I offer a variety of species on different medias and in different packaging: 90mm Research Plate - expect normal or faster growth. Pigmentation is possible and/or expected with some species. If your culture is contaminated, reach out within 10 days of receiving your package for replacement if you don't believe you can clean it or WANT to clean it. 60mm Research Plate - expect slow growth. Pigmentation is possible and/or expected with some species. If your culture is contaminated, reach out within 10 days of receiving your package for replacement if you don't believe you can clean it or WANT to clean it. 2ml Centrifuges - These are 2ml centrifuges containing agar wedges in sterile, distilled water. These are the SLOWEST species I offer. Expect very slow growth and a potential "stall" upon first transfers from the centrifuge. If you received a 2ml centrifuge and wedges that will not grow AFTER 1 MONTH OF RECEIVING YOUR PACKAGE, please reach out for a consultation and/or replacement. If your wedges are contaminated, reach out within 10 days of receiving your package for replacement if you don't believe you can clean or WANT to clean them. Research Syringe - 10ml syringe containing a liquid research culture. I test all master research cultures during preparation and inspect before shipment. However, it is still recommended they are tested again upon receiving. If your culture is not viable, reach out within 10 days of receiving your package for replacement. Spore Print/Swabs - Spores are unable to be sterile. Although, I do my best to provide the cleanest spores possible, contamination can still be a factor. If you believe your spores are "dead" or if you're having problems studying them, please reach out. All products, including spores, are prepared/packaged in front of laminar flow. Note - Understanding generations and phenotypes; You may see labels on my products such as "F" followed immediately by a number and then followed by "Domestic" or something else(phenotype name.) The "F" stands for filial generation which is defined as a generation that is successive to a parental generation. The lower the number of filial generation means the more unstable it is. Which means potentially lower yields but also more phenotypes (yay!) If you're working from a wild clone or F1 generation, don't expect a stable product or max results.
