Psilocybe Ingeli

Psilocybe Ingeli is one of the most recent described psilocybes. Discovered in 2024 along with Psilocybe Maluti, found high up in the Kwa-Zulu region of South Africa the Ingeli mountain range. These are other high elevation species placing them in section zapotecorum. This species is very easy and aggressive on plates and on grain, once spawned to substrate it is average speed. Dense insets are easy to establish but the struggle lies in bringing them to maturity without abortion. This species currently requires an extreme amount of FAE while retaining high humidity. it is not as forgiving Subtropicalis when it comes to environmental balance. However, we as a community have been working Subtropicalis for 30 years now. Soon Ingeli will undoubtedly perform much better. We are working on training our cut of Ingeli to be able to withstand the higher c02 concentrations of dub tubs, bags, and mono tubs, as compared respectively to its natural habitat. We are currently on F-2 with Ingeli and have 3 working clones from F-1 all off which pin on agar and have a strong willingness to grow, they just need some exposure therapy with c02.
