The First ever, Pan cyan / Pan Bisporus hybrid.

This hybrid was created by crossing TTBVI #14 with Pan Bisporus Isolate XW3(coleville), it will grow just like either cultivar.

Pan X is a Interspecies Somatic Hybrid. Proof of a legitimate cross is contained on the p2 hybrid mushroom gills. Microscopically you can see spores with two membrane (bisporus) and spores with a single membrane(ttbvi). The package of genes that code for spore production has been mitotically recombined between pan bisporus and pan cyan. To my knowledge, this is the first ever well documented interspecies hybrid.

The ring was selected for its amazing yield, automated monotubs will easily pull an ounce of fruits.

I used a in house parasexual breeding technique for years to cross cultivars like enigma, ape, and melmac. The procedure behind the technique used is original. Traditionally to create this type of cross you would need to use a technique known as protoplast fusion.

This particular phenotype (the ring) is a sibling phenotype to pan x isolate p2.

*Plenty of evidence beyond the final product has been gathered and documented to show that this is a true parasexual hybrid; this hybrid has the ability to produce meiotic offspring; more detail will drop at a later date, but for now -be the first to own a piece of mycological history.
